 My Joyful Heart is a nonprofit Christian organization that provides a positive influence to inner city and suburban school children in need by remembering them with basic life essentials and school supplies, clothing, toys and encouragement consistently throughout the year. These children have an up close and personal relationship with poverty everyday of their lives.
Many of the children are living in shelters, foster care and in difficult one-parent families. My Joyful Heart was incorporated on May 18th 2004 and currently has over 363 children enrolled with more waiting for sponsorship.
By removing the daily obstacles in their young lives the children are able to focus on their studies, they relate better to their peers and they are motivated to regularly attend school because someone cares.
My Joyful Heart is a nonprofit, 501-c-3 tax-exempt organization.
Our Vision
The vision of My Joyful Heart is to obtain funding, through sponsorships; individual and corporate, grants, donations and various church support that will enable My Joyful Heart to expand into other communities as well as more of Chicago’s inner city schools. Children living in poverty know no boundaries.
Coffee Fundraiser
We are selling Dunkin Donuts Coffee and this is one of our most important fundraisers. We would appreciate your help selling the bags of coffee. If you can post this flyer and order form at work, a church, a office, or anywhere else you can think of to help sell bags that would be a huge help to us. We get the full $7 per bag donated to us. Help us change lives, one pound at a time.
